Learn how to perform CARs: Controlled Articular Rotations (based on the FRC® joint mobility system) in this 60-min mobility & asana class.
The intention behind these exercises is to expose your joints to their full range of (painless) motion, encouraging active mobility and supporting flexibility.
Along with breath awareness and explorative new movements, this class can help you understand your body’s relationship to different yoga asanas.
The class progresses at a mellow pace, weaving together breath practices, mobility exercises, and asana.
Several movement options may be provided to encourage folks to find what feels most accessible to them.
Suggested props: 2 blocks, 1 blanket, 1 strap or belt

Fridays @ 11:00 am EST - 50 min
Based on the Detour Method led by Cecily Milne, this is a practice focused on infusing strength and stability into yoga asana. Each class is an intentional journey focused on a specific asana or sequence of movement.
Follow along through slow but progressive movements that incrementally increase in power (if you choose to go there), discovering strength and stability within your asana practice.
You’ll be guided through movements that promote self-inquiry and encourage you to discover your strength threshold. (You’re also welcome to keep things mellow and within own pace!)
Suggested props: 2 blocks, 1 blanket, 1 strap or belt
